Shrove Tuesday Pancake Dinner

Plan now to attend this delicious night of fellowship and fundraising.

Shrove Tuesday is a fun tradition to kick off the Lenten season. 

Due to building renovations, this will be held in the Model Elementary Cafeteria.

Lenten Workshop

Sunday, March 15

noon-2:15 pm

We hope you join us for this family event for all ages to kick off the Lenten season. 

We will experience what Lent is all about in tangible ways and provide you and your family resources to journey through the season together. 


It will help us plan for supplies if you RSVP by Monday, 3/9, to Pastor Jes or the office.

Event will be held in the Fellowship Hall, following 2nd service
A light lunch/snacks will be served

Please bring a snack, side dish or dessert to share if you wish

$10/per person covers supplies

Paint with Pastor

Saturday, March 28

10:30-1:00 am

Spring IS Coming!  Pastor Jes will lead this afternoon painting session, for all abilities and ages.  $15/per person covers all cost of supplies (paint, canvas, tools, etc.)

Monthly on the 1st Tuesday at 5:30 pm and

3rd Saturday at 9:00 am


Bring a knitting, crochet or craft project you are working on, supplies for your craft or just a pair of good scissors!  

We bring a snack to share.

Donations needed of clean plastic grocery sacks.

PINTS WITH PASTOR

Pints with Pastor meets on the 2nd Thursday each month. We meet at 6:30 p.m. at Goshen Brewing Company.  To receive text updates or reminders contact the office at faith@faithgoshen.com


SOFT PINTS WITH PASTOR (June-October)

Soft Pints with Pastor meets on the 3rd Wednesday each month. Stop by Honey's Frozen Yogurt in Linway Plaze, Goshen between 5:30-7:30.  Visit with Pastor Jes and enjoy time with other friends from Faith.  To receive text updates or reminders contact the office.


FAITH QUILTERS

Meets on the 2nd & 4th Monday each month at 1:00 p.m. in the church library


YARNS of LOVE

Meets on the 1st Tuesday at 5:30 pm & 3rd Saturday at 9:00 am each month

in the church fellowship hall

 

HOT FELLOWSHIP

Meets on the 1st Sunday of each month.  We gather between worship services as a whole church for a warm breakfast, fellowship and complete a simple service project together.

IHN

Interfaith Hospitality Network Week


Our next week to serve at IHN will be late spring, details to come.


We serve by volunteering to be Dinner Hosts and Evening Hosts:

Dinner Hosts will be at St. Marks from 5:00 pm -7:30 pm to serve and join our guests for the meal.  Evening Hosts arrive at 7:30 pm and visit with guests until overnight staff arrives at 10:00 pm.

Serving in Worship


Our Sunday morning liturgy—the worship service—is created only through the work and gifts of many different people.  We welcome everyone to serve at Faith.  One way to serve is by assisting during Sunday morning worship services.  

  • anyone can participate-children, adults, no experience necessary!
  • worship assistants, ushers, communion assistants, lectors, greeters, A/V team, acolytes, altar guild, etc.

Dan's Fish Fry

Faith hosts an annual all you care to eat Fish Fry each fall as a fundraiser for ministries of our church.  We are thankful for the community support each year.  Proceeds go to to a ministry of the church.  

Next year's date is already set! 

Dinner includes: Dan's famous fish & chicken, cole slaw, applesauce, potato chips and bread & butter, a homemade dessert and a beverage.
