Quilting Blitz

Saturday, Oct. 19th

9:00 am- 3:00 pm

All are invited to come help at the WELCA (Women of the ELCA) quilting blitz, held in Faith's Fellowship Hall. 

Come for all day, or just a few hours!

Lunch will be served.  

Please bring a pair of scissors with you, and a sewing machine if you have one.

Sign up sheet is located on the long table in the narthex.

Sewing skills are NOT required, there be many tasks suitable for all skill levels!

Interfaith Hospitality Network

IHN, Interfaith Hospitality Network, is located at St Mark's Methodist Church, Goshen.   Faith Lutheran 'hosts' a week of IHN by volunteering ~ we invite YOU to serve our community in this way. 

Our next week to serve is October 27-November 2, 2019.

Dinner Hosts will be at St. Marks from 5:00 pm -7:30 pm to serve a meal that is delivered and then join our guests for the meal. 

Evening Hosts arrive at 7:30 pm to visit with guests until IHN overnight staff arrives at 10:00 pm.

Habitat for Humanit & Thrivent team up for Elkhart County's 'Faith Build'

Oct. 5th- Nov. 15th

Faith Lutheran is partnering with Habitat for Humanity and Thrivent to help make a real difference in Elkhart County through this fall's 'Building on Faith' project.  Together, we will dedicate our time and talents to making a difference through volunteering at the build site as individuals or in small groups.  Additionally, we also hope to sponsor a lunch for the site workers.

Parent's Night Out

Friday, October 25

Would you like some time to connect with your spouse?  Catch up with a friend?  Want to do some shopping without the kids?  Or maybe you would just enjoy three hours of silence by yourself!  The youth of Faith Lutheran would like to help you out!

Drop of your kids for an evening of faith-filled activities, a craft and a snack while you enjoy a night out.  

$10 for 1st child

$5 each additional child

Serving in Worship

Our Sunday morning liturgy—the worship service—is created only through the work and gifts of many different people.  We welcome everyone to serve at Faith.  One way to serve is by assisting during Sunday morning worship services.  

  • anyone can participate-children, adults, no experience necessary!
  • worship assistants, ushers, communion assistants, lectors, greeters, A/V team, acolytes, altar guild, etc.
  • contact the office at faith@faithgoshen.com or 574-533-5760 if you are interested in serving and want more info or have questions about these ministries

Dan's Fish Fry

Faith hosts an annual all you care to eat Fish Fry each fall as a fundraiser for ministries of our church.  We are thankful for the community support each year.  Proceeds go to to a ministry of the church.  

Next year's date is already set! 

Dinner includes: Dan's famous fish & chicken, cole slaw, applesauce, potato chips and bread & butter, a homemade dessert and a beverage.
